KTA Is Worse Than TDS

Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social: “A very sad thing happened last night in Hollywood. Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star, has passed away, together with his wife, Michele, reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS.”

It's hard to know where to begin analyzing that statement, I suspect psychology students will be studying it for years to come. To a layman, it shows a complete lack of empathy, and being totally self-absorbed with himself. While I'm not surprised by his callousness, I'm interested to see the reaction of his supporters. Trump went on to say...

“He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness,”

As my disillusionment with Trump began appearing on my blogs, my partisan Republican readers have been using the TDS slur against me. I'm sorry to tell them that their blind support of Trump may well be the real pathology...KTA, Kissing Trump's A--

  1. I have grown weary of Trump. His comment as you stated above is cruel and inappropriate. He doesn't seem to know where to stop with his self obsessed rhetoric. A shame, I don't think he will ever be considered a statesman because of his inability to control his narcissism.

  2. Objective discussion on issues is dead in America, it is all about personalities and personnel attacks. very juvenile and counter productive. That applies to all that engage in this nonsense.

  3. Mr and Mrs Reiner were killed, apparantley, by their son who had psychological issues. From news reports it appears that Reiner wanted his son go back into "Rehab" for about the 18th time or so and a heated discussion resulted in the deaths of him and also his wife.

I've never been in "Rehab" about anything so I can't comment on that, although if a relatively young man with mental issues goes into a psychological clinic, which is the closest thing California has to a mental hospital repeatedly, he has serious issues that were not being addressed. It is very likely he will wind up in an instution for the criminally insane for the rest of his life.

Trump Derangement Syndrome is now a term used by MAGA for anyone who disagrees with Trump about anything. It is a way MAGA tries to link those who disagree with Trump to the extreme leftists that control and are the main spokesmen for the Democratic Party, now that the moderates have abandoned their party. "TDS" has long since lost any real meaning and is now used by MAGA to differentiate themselves from the vast majority of voters who are moderate in their political views; who understand how the United States became the great power that it is though our global trade and relationships with many nations who admired America and wanted to be like us and supported us for 70 some years.

The recently released Trump National Security Policy document is truly chilling. Trump may have been a successful buisnessman in his working life (he is 80 now) however he does not understand the fundamentals of how the United States became a great power. It will not lead to make America Great Again, because it is more of an ideological document with inherent contridictions, not a successful strategic strategy.

To me, MAGA is a radical right ideologic philosophy and the Democrats now are the radical left on the political spectrum. They are simply the flip sides of the same coin. Not the large "Silent Majority" of Americans that Nixon described in his 1969 speech that described who we are and what America believes in. That is what Ronald Reagan drew on that really made America Great at the end of the 20th Century.

    1. So, in others words, BOTH political parties suck. There, I agree.

In my mind, the only way to dig out of this situation is to slowly vote Incumbents out of the office they now hold. Realistically, very few will actually do that.

There's really no sense in wasting one's time campaigning against Trump. He's not even running for re-election. Much better use of your energy would be to campaign against people who are running again.

But that’s just it. The democrats have nothing other than personal attacks and campaigning against Trump.

After the mid-terms, they will pivot to declaring the next Republican front runner (or front runners) to be the new Hitler(s).

Such is the way of the democrats.

As to Reiner, as much as I enjoyed many of his movies, in the real world he was instrumental for funding the candidates that have spread this type of hateful rhetoric for decades. So I’m not surprised when those who have been on the receiving end of such smears don’t hide their opinions when something like this happens.

    3. Mr. Moll, thanks for your thoughtful response. It’s a nice synopsis to what I saw on MS NOW a few days ago and you articulated it better than I could have.

  4. Thanks for taking the high road, ignoring Trump’s comments, and keeping the focus on Reiner’s life.

It’s good to see that you practice what you preach, and set such a fine example.

That’s what I would have liked to have written, but you’ve become what you supposedly hate.

  5. anon@7:05: That is good advise for the normal adult, BUT, Trump is president of the USA. As such he is expected to take the "high road". He is expected to be an example for school children. Dismissing his unacceptable rants, and placing blame on people who note it, is an attempt to deflect his unfitness for office. BTW, as you know, he doubled down on crassness.
We'll see you stands up in the Republican party.

    1. Trump is a lame duck, I think. CBS, MSNBC, NBC, CNN, NPR, PBS, etc. etc. remind us 24/7 how completely stupid he is.
God bless them all for having the courage to speak truth to power, and thank you for speaking up to protect Democracy, decency and the American Way.
This is still the land of the brave and the free in spite of the rising tide of misogyny, racism, transphobia, Islamophobia and the stain of MAGA delusional fever dreams.
      We will survive!

    2. The problem in Pennsylvania is the hicks that cling to their religion and their guns.
When they go low we must go high.

  6. anon@8:19: "such is the way of the Democrats"...your partisan rants are falling on more and more deaf ears. As far as "hiding their opinion", yes, I would expect a president to have more impulse control. That is the same lack of control with which he levies tariffs and other executive orders. Defending him will become a tougher job, because he is deteriorating....

  7. I forgot to sign my comment @8:50. As everyone who knows me is aware I spent the longest amount of my politically active life (beginning with the Tet Offensive) as a Democrat, frequently voting Green, and being castigated by Democrats for my disloyalty, ie -lack of enthusiasm for Hillary- only to reregister Independent when I returned home from the appallingly corrupt Philly Convention.
It’s difficult to paint me as any kind of a political partisan. My abuse at the hands of the felon Pawlowski is a matter of record here at MOLOVINSKY On ALLENTOWN. In the Lehigh Valley I am virtually persona non grata being unfriended and blocked by both teams but way, way, more “progressive/libs” NPR types.

  8. I guess fearless leader will say anything that gets people to forget about Epstein and affordability. The Deranged one will definitely go down in history as the greatest flim-flam huckster the world has ever known. "What's that? Where are the files, the lower prices, the end of war I promised on Day 1? Look over here now! This way to the Egress!"

  9. Trump is just a silly old man who thinks he has to weigh in on every topic, especially the ones that he knows nothing about, and especially celebrities who get more air time than he does. Even his family relationships are contractual.
