Ron Angle as Bully

Bernie O'Hare likes to romanticize Ron Angle as a bulldog, in reality, he's a bully. Yesterday, the Northampton Election Committee accepted the Save Gracedale initiative as a ballot question. They verified that enough signatures were obtained, and that the question does conform with the Charter. The issue now goes to the County Council, which was preparing to accept a bid to sell the nursing home. At yesterday's meeting, Angle said that the matter will be determined in court. Bernie O'Hare has a post which echos the court threat, and claims that the Commission is in the bag for the union. Bill White has a blog on his new theme, how cute O'Hare and Angle are together as justice fighters. I congratulate the Save Gracedale Group, and wish them continued success against the bullies.

UPDATE: After the meeting Ron Angle said: "Bernie and I will fight them in the air, we'll fight them in the sea and we'll fight them on land." Apparently, Bernie has now convinced Angle that he is a Northampton County Winston Churchill. I think that would take more than a bulldog and a cigar.

UPDATE: Bernie has a new post called Molovinsky's False Accusations, where he's offended because I assigned comment #1 to him. He has used those expressions numerous times with me; that I wasn't present at a meeting, or my criticism of something is retaliation for some egg on my face. It's most ironic that Bernie considers his integrity sacred, while he routinely uses terms like goon, faker, corrupt, and pay to play to describe others.

  1. They didn't verify signatures! They just felt the question/referendum would be "allowable" by home rule charter. Again, you are pontificating on something you have no clue about. If you had gone to the meeting or properly read a newspaper account, you would have seen that this is evident. Your venom for O'Hare is evident. Your petty squabbles and hurt feelings paint you as you are: feebleminded.

  2. you are mistaken; according to the article in the morning call (newsprint edition) they have accepted 19,651 "valid" signatures. attending meetings is not a requirement for opinion. that is straight out of o'hare's playbook. also interesting is that o'hare states that the commission is in the bag for the union. when such accusations are made against o'hare's favorites, he routinely says that their integrity is being attacked. now go to sleep bernie, there's more meetings tonight.

  4. gary, once again, i must remind you that i don't easily fit into the boxes. i would never advocate that a county now go into the nursing home business. on the other hand, i don't think a county should discard an existing institution for a quick cash infusion, and because of mismanagement.

  6. in comment number 1, at 6:24 am, (bernie) implies that this post is based on a petty squabble. this post is based on gracedale. bernie called them goons and fakes from day one. he spent days examining the petitions and filed a lawsuit. i elaborate on their arrogance and hypocrisy, because it's part of the story.

  7. I like the chorus of violins playing in the background with that piece.

What a victim, this O'Hare fellow.

His certainly dishes it out but cannot even begin to take it. Time and time again, mind you.

Not very respectable, to say the least.

He picks fights, then cries foul when he gets his butt whooped...

On the other hand, how much should I expect from a self-described "Bottom Feeder".

He doesn't say it with sarcasm, he says it with pride.

  8. for conservation sake, let's assume that comment #1 was NOT from bernie; does that mean he has integrity? i'm glad he "resisted the temptation to bash me", by the end of his third paragraph. he starts off with a quote from exodus, but a jewish boy like me should know better than to violate the old testament. last night mr. integrity started pouring through boxes to construct his case against callahan, proclaimed by o'hare guilty of sweetheart deals. bernie, integrity aside, you're one hell of a hypocrite.

  9. I would just like to say that my impression of Ron Angle is that he is the worst kind of human being -- bright who thinks too highly of himself.

The few times that I have met this person leaves me with disgust. If he were to represent me, I would throw up.

Any policy that is forwarded by him is suspect.

It is all about him, with no substantive knowledge about reality or the facts, except for what he believes as being the truth. The truth for him is what he feels is best for him.

  10. anon 3:45, "worst kind of human being" is a tad harsh. i think he just gets too full of himself, which is apparent from the winston churchill quote.

with this bernie comment integrity deal, some background. bernie, recently "barred" me from commenting on his blog. he routinely defends himself here when taken to task. this morning it occurred to me that bernie would be embarrassed to comment here when he has banned me, but the comment sounds typical bernie........

Comment #1 doesn't look anything like a comment from Bernie. Especially since it begins with the false and easily disproved "They didn't verify" comment. He's not stupid.
