Yesterday's big news is that the city employee is charged with planting the infamous noose herself. Worse for the town, she is also on the school board. By the time you read this here Wednesday morning, she will be pretty torn up by the gristmill.
Elsewhere in my recent archives, I devoted a couple posts to a Promise Neighborhood critic. Like with the city employee, beyond this mention, my mobile press room is moving on.
We reached a point where discrimination and accusations of such, have become a cottage industry. Everybody, including the self-proclaimed victims, would be far better off ridding themselves of those chips on their shoulders. Likewise, I think that both the city and school system would be better off less concerned with DEI, and more so with a stronger work ethic.
Hoax hate crimes are hate crimes intended to intimidate white communities and to stir violent hatred of white people. Brown should be charged according to hate crime statutes.
ReplyDeleteHowever, Brown will not face any meaningful repercussions. She will be shielded and showered with empathy by authorities for her brave struggle against the racism she faked. Authorities will instead admonish the community that it is racist in and of itself to observe a black person perpetrate an antiwhite hoax.
No one should "move on" from it until Brown is charged with hate crime enhancement to her pending fraud charge and her co-conspirators, Jose Lopez, Ce Ce Gerlach and the attendees of the January 13th demonstration are dragged before cameras and forced to apologize to the community for being lying scum.
Not necessarily true. I’m a Dem, but horrified at the stupidity. She should be fired and resign from the School Board.
Deletehere’s where humanity always goes wrong- as the pendulum swings back the other way we pretend that there’s no truth to the other side’s argument. while i agree that racial grievances have gone way too far in this country, that doesn’t mean that legitimate racial grievances doesn’t exist. there’s more to this story.
Delete"Brown will not face any meaningful repercussions. She will be shielded and showered with empathy by authorities for her brave struggle against the racism she faked."
DeleteWell Now!
ReplyDeleteI wonder how much this investigation has cost the taxpayers of the “City Without Limits”
Send the invoice to Ms. LaTarsha Brown. People have to be held responsible for their actions.
Also, the fellow protesters that were quick to condemn the Mayor and City Council should quickly call a news conference to apologize for their actions.
I'm not going to hold my breath!!!
Councilman Hendricks needs to go. I am a white male and his ignorance that their is no discrimination is probably the most ridiculous statement someone can make as a Councilman in a major city. And Tuerk the mental health professional now? Bro before you cast judgement on Brown, lest not forget you brag about looking like Pee Wee Herman, and we all know why he got arrested. Diddler
ReplyDeleteTo me, the most amazing part of this story is that as of last night, she still has her job at Allentown City Hall.
ReplyDeleteWhat level of wrongdoing does one have to do in order to get fired by Mayor Tuerk, or is that punishment only reserved for people who use the wrong pronouns?
Brown just got caught making false racial accusations that many in the city believed and caused great harm in the city. The investigation, which included the FBI, likely cost the taxpayers quite a bit.
Since Mayor Pee Wee doesn’t seem to know what to do, might I suggest that Brown should be immediately fired or suspended (without pay) pending termination. The city should also start whatever legal action is needed to recover the full cost to the city of the investigation into the matter.
Meanwhile, I would hope that the Allentown School Board has already prepared some sort of censure resolution against Brown and will request her resignation at the next meeting. If she fails to voluntarily resign, they should be ready to vote on whatever is needed to have her involuntary removed by the state.
She has no business being involved in the education of Allentown’s youth, and the ASD Board needs to send that message strongly and swiftly. If they don’t, I think it’s fair to question their motivations for serving and their competence.
Brown, Tuerk, Hendricks they are all the problem. Brown for her reckless act. Tuerk and Hendricks for ignoring the fact there is Major problems in the city. People hate working there. Mayors office puts out these surveys on the workplace environment. But never posts the results because of I can only assume they show the city is not a good place to work at
ReplyDeleteHendricks is the problem?
DeleteHe’s not a superstar, but I’d put him far below the likes of Gerlach, Santos, Mota, or Napoli.
Mota and Santos are also up for re-election this time around. I’d focus on ousting them and keeping Hendricks.
Anon.@8:19
DeleteRegarding the stellar Councilman Hendricks; In the land of the blind the one eyed man is king.
“By the time you read this here Wednesday morning, she will be pretty torn up by the gristmill.”
ReplyDeleteI wouldn’t be so sure about that.
As I noted in a previous comment, she still had her job as of last night. The Mayor’s comment in the media included that he was “praying for her”.
A friend of Brown was quoted by WFMZ as saying "We live in a system that historically has criminalized any person brave enough to stand boldly on the side of justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion. We must acknowledge this." That same friend promised that “supporters” will have much more to say in a news release sometime in the near future.
That hardly sounds like Brown is being torn up by the gristmill or even held accountable for her own reprehensible actions.
In fact it sounds like the race-baiting industry is alive and well in Allentown, and even being protected by those in elected office.
If you submitted a comment to either this post, or the previous one on the Parkway's island, and it did not appear, my apology. I experienced a glitch this morning with the comment system.
ReplyDeleteSorry Mike and not to switch topics but isn't it funny that 3 months from start to finish this investigation is complete. But the Apd vice thefts "Juan fund" still haven't been dealt with after atleast 6 months and the evidence and suspects are 100% clear. Roca can go after Brown but not his own corrupt officers. Worry about self planted hate crime over corrupted untrusted cops. Good job Tuerk and Roca.
DeleteApparntley racism is so bad in Allentown, now we have to invent it.
ReplyDeleteI am not suprised that Ms Brown is also a member of Black Lives Matter and is a strong promoter of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). As she is also on the Allentown School Board, as well as a municipal employee, the reasons for the ASD's poor performance becomes clearer as well as a result of this matter.
This matter also raises questions that I never thought I would be asking about Allentown.
What makes me curious is what does Ms Brown actually do for the citizens of Allentown at her desk that improves the city in some meaningful way? And how much money she takes in from city taxpayers as her salary?
Does she have any relationship with Hasshan Batts? Race hustliing is a growing industry in Allentown these days.
Tha fact that she is still on the public payroll is not suprising either, given the current city administration.
I wonder how much she likes the new Snow White movie ?
The Sh*t Show that is Allentown city government and it's cast of clowns, nincompoops, users, and self servers rolls on. You go Allentown voters, only could make all of the above possible. I have said many times, Allentown is the epicenter of stupid, this is just the latest example of proof. One more note, while the rest of America seems finally to be moving away from Woke, clearly our city leaders are not letting go. There will be little to no consequences for the guilty ASD director and city employee. Remember, according to the Book of Woke, she is still a victim. WE must feel sorry for her, after all, it's our fault right...?
ReplyDeleteWhere can I get a copy of the Book of Woke? Lmao. Brown is now famous and once again the city of allentown looks like a joke. We looked like a joke when Tuerk tried to stop the Trump rally. This is insane!!! Can we get some positive news around here??? Maybe the book of woke will give us some insight.
DeleteIn terms of stupid, I can never forget Allentown creating, or tolerating a 4 year shut down for repairs of one of its major East/West arteries, the Union Blvd. Bridge. Other items of curiosity include exposed sewer pipes dividing up the park system, the continuation of weed fields keeping park goers from enjoying the beautiful meandering stream running through the city.
DeleteSince this post touches on the local race-baiting industry, it’s worth noting that I saw what I believe was a Black Nationalist flag hanging downtown over the weekend.
ReplyDeleteWhere was it? Right below the American flag outside our historic Zion Reformed Church on Hamilton Street!
Did this woman confess to actually doing this? If so, it would seem no trial is necessary. Of course, if there is a trial and this woman is found guilty she most definitely needs to be fired. This matter could drag on for many months, if not a year(s), until a final resolution is determined. An immediate suspension of employment now would be appropriate, however.
ReplyDeleteAs for the unpaid School Board position, as a sign of some personal integrity, this woman should resign immediately so as not to be a distraction.
Could someone tell me what the charges actually are in this case and what maximum sentence they carry?
ReplyDeleteI could be wrong, but neither of the charges I’ve heard so far sounds like it carries a harsh penalty.
If it turns out that the charges are little more than a slap on the wrist, I think it’s fair to ask who decided on undercharging Brown.
Brown should get the exact same level of charges that someone would have gotten had the hoax been true. Anything less is an affront to justice and invites more false claims in the future.
I believe Brown should be facing lengthy prison time. No matter what, the public deserves to know what sentences the charges carry, who made the decision on what she is charged with, and why.
I presume the City of Allentown is consulting with their solicitor on how to best proceed regarding Ms. Brown's employment for damage control with an unstable situation as would ASD. Tuerk's prayers likely are accompanied by those from his recently hired human resources director who as I recall on his hire told council at a council meeting he was a Christian man. I don't have a problem with prudence and prayer.
ReplyDeleteHendricks aptly surmised the racism allegations are not an institutionalized concern.Good for him for speaking up. Hopefully he will win his seat back.
I do have an issue with self avowed activists like Josie Lopez whose clumsy orchestrations are efforts to incite unrest. Her immaturity is dangerous. I read her comments on social media and see people swallow her slanted accusations. When it comes time to vote, observe the dynamics and the groundwork she is laying to have Natalie, palmer and Ben stem partner with ce-ce. And note, she ain't backing Tuerk.
I am always entertained by how quickly opinions are formed. Unfortunately, fanatics had a hard time distinguishing fact from fiction. All the hoopla at city hall is churned by a handful of people who the reference escapes me...are not as they seem.
Where is Lopez on social media?
DeleteLaTarsha's DNA being on the noose means nothing, her DNA was all over her desk it could easily have been transferred and the perp wore gloves. Read about touch DNA it has led investigations down the wrong path and lead to multiple wrongful convictions, she is being victimized twice and have every confidence Ben Crump who she is seeking as council will win a big judgement against this regime.
ReplyDelete9:48 AM - Did you not read that her DNA was INSIDE THE KNOT of the noose? They also have photographic evidence that eliminates anyone else who could have had access to her office. I know---DNA tests and cameras are racist.
DeleteThis doesn’t really let the city off the hook. I’m sure racism is still a big problem in city government, but so is race-baiting. It’s unfortunate, but it will take years to rebuild confidence in city government and the school board.
ReplyDelete9:49, confidence? What confidence? Confidence in city hall or on the ASD board is now ancient history. For good reason, Allentown is a joke to the rest of the valley, for those of us with skin in the game it is an ongoing tragedy.
DeleteWhat happened to innocent until proven guilty? Queen Brown has been smeared by the lame stream media and two micro bloggers who are so fixated on tearing down Hermano Tuerk that they lose sight of humanity and become heat seeking missels of hate
ReplyDeleteI am offering my opinion. Yes, she didi it. WHY? Because in a distorted fashion, she regards herself as a martyr willing to advance her cause of supposedly revealing racism in city hall. She got off track and resorted to harmful and criminal actions to forward her perceived impressions. A classic argument of those who profess the end justifies the means. Her single-minded effort sacrificed her credibility, directly scorned her coworkers and negated everything she has done for the community. However, her motivation is different from the s**t stirrers who roam because they lack the insight and skills to productively challenge others and they want to get even with those who they consider to hamper their effort. The sh*t stirrers are a bigger problem.
ReplyDeleteI hope Ms. Brown can find her waywardness and apologize to her family, friends, coworkers and community for the harm she caused.
or maybe she's just another grifter looking to sue the city? Plenty of that going on here in the Queen City. Don't overthink this and carelessly cast nobility in dubious directions.
DeleteThe end justifies the means.
DeleteT’was ever thus.
You have some special insight into Browns motivation?
DeleteImpressive.
Yes, I’m quite sure that she was driving by the most noble of motives.
DeletePlease correct me if I am wrong. Mayor O"Connell, Pawlowski, Afflerbach, Heydt go back as far as you want. I don't live in Allentown but I follow the news. Again please correct me if I'm wrong. There may have been problems but I've never heard all of this stuff about racism in City Hall. Why now? I would call that a clue.
ReplyDeleteMost likely, Allentown is now a majority ‘persons of color’ community but that standing is not nearly enough for those who see racism around every corner. It’s time to extract vengeance for all prior perceived injustices. Some call that reverse racism but, it makes the new majority feel more empowered by the day. Some will savor each new day of the march
