The Trump Cult

By comment, I told some readers on Friday that if they wore a red hat or shirt, or both, and stood in line for twelve hours to see Trump, that they were in a cult. Some found that label offensive, and referred to that behavior as enthusiasm against Democratic endorsed nonsense for the last four years. I agree with them that the political correctness had morphed into the realm of absurdity, and that it in turn ignited a majority of the populace against it. Kamala Harris also did herself no favor by promising grants to buy houses, open businesses and have babies.

Another contentious issue on Friday was Trump's nominations. If the President elect wanted to annoy his detractors, he could have done no better. This blog maintains a focus group, and the Democratic side was fuming. Although their original reaction to the election contained phrases such as democracy, wait and see, benefit of the doubt, the appointees regressed them back into foaming at the mouth.

Some in areas that are still blue on the map think maybe they weren't far enough to the left!?! It's hard for me to even comprehend such a conclusion. Mike Tyson learned Friday night that it's not easy to go back in time. If Trump's cabinet announcements last week are an indicator, I think Democrats already have a platform for the midterms.

  1. Trump survived two assassination attempts, the hand of God shifted a bullets path to spare America from Komrade Komalas communist takeover. We are a Christian Nation Michael people other than Christians will be put in their place in this new world order so we can get down to brass tacks and DRILL BABY DRILL!

  2. Let us not forget that the biden cabinet was the biggest clown car that masqueraded as a government under our senile president. Especially Lloyd Austin whose most important task was to root out "white supremacists" in our military and implement DEI for the demoralization and politicization of the U.S. military. There was "Pothole" Pete Buttigieg who was selected and loved by the rank-and-file Democratic primary crowd not because of any worthwhile talent or accomplishment, but because of his choice of his life partner’s gender.

And also Anthony Blinken, who represented the United States as the utter embodiment of the term “pushover.” His sole accomplishment before being named Secretary of State was being one of Hillary Clinton's advisors. And lets not forget Treasury Secretary Janet Yelin, who told us that inflation was "transitory", and whose other pronouncements to the contrary are now exposed as the transparent partisan lies everyone knew them to be all along.

Lets not forget Alejandro Mayorkas, who welcomed more illegal aliens into the United States, millions of them, causing probably causing more damage to the country than any other cabinet member.

And you think the Democrats already have a platform for the midterms by President Trump's selections ?

    1. anon@6:36: On Friday someone was trying to divine if I am D or R, even though I state to be independent. I suppose he/she cannot accept that there are independents, who are not partisan. Yes, I have no doubt that Trumps' picks already are an issue for 2026, regardless of how well they may perform.

    2. Yes, but no matter how well the Trump team does its job over the coming 4 years. No matter how obviously our nation has become a better place for our families’ future, The Democrat side will deny everything and attack. It’s what they do. They have nothing else.

To a Democrat, if you cannot win an argument on the merits of your own position, you simply say and do anything to destroy your opponent. Lying and dirty tricks are unlimited. Been this way since the 1960s when Saul Alinsky was annointed as their God.

  3. If Americans would have wanted Kamala Harris, they would have voted for her. Democrats are going to complain over everything Trump does and try to block his every move and every appointee. "GET OVER IT. YOU LOST" in the immortal words of Barrack Obama

Look at what is going on in Bucks County with the Democrats dragging their heels and counting illegal votes, in defiance of court orders so they can cheat with the "long count" and get Casey back in the senate.

Frankly, I am sick of their nonsense and shenanigans to undermine our nation. Many have made public pronouncements that they want to move overseas rather than live under President Trump. I say when are you leaving ??

Go pack your prized possessions and leave if you can't live in a nation where the people live under the rule of law, not the will of Kamala Harris. I am certain that many men and women would be happy to lend a hand. I would also suspect that the governments of the other countries you may be emigrating to, and make your future home, would be happy to welcome you -- countries that share your views of the United States.

Like Iran, China, Syria, and Yemen, etc.

    1. Yes, I saw that on the news. It looks like the Dems there just do not care about the rule of law. They do not care about court orders. And they sure don’t care about the will of the people. Far from wanting to save our republic, they are trying to subvert it to keep Casey in the Senate. Funny, I don't see the headlines in the Morning Call saying “Bucks County Democrats breaking the law” or “Democrats ignore court order” or “Bucks County Democrats spit in the face of voters?” But then I quit believing in Santa Claus many years ago, shortly after I lost my faith in unicorns. To Democrats, it is never over. Ever.

  4. “…I think Democrats already have a platform for the midterms.”

I think that democrats THINK they have a platform for the midterms, and as you note many of them think it’s to go even further to the left with the very policies that were rejected soundly a few weeks ago.

So far we’ve heard about democrat governors doubling down on trans surgeries for kids and sanctuary state policies for illegals, and others calling for the formation of a “shadow government”. Not exactly the acceptance of election results that we’ve been lectured about for four years, but we know that was all about politics and not something they really believed applied to THEM.

I expect those approaches will backfire on them, as the American people are generally fair and expect their incoming candidates to get AT LEAST a hundred days to implement their agendas. The democrats can’t even wait until Inauguration Day to begin their obstruction.

As usual, the democrats learned nothing from the election results and instead of listening to what the American people want, they’re just repackaging their same old product.

  5. After a huge defeat in an another reliction, Bill Clinton founded the Democratic leadership conference in an attempt to bring sanity to the then much more conservative democrat party.
If you remember it was all about dont ask and don't tell in the military. Now it is in your face and who knows what goes on in military bases.
Bill Clinton did his best to engage in compromise and won elections 2 times.
When Obama lost congress in his midterms he believed they were not left enough.
It is a question if the democrats can go backward after they preached move forward, in their opinion, for years.
I doubt if they will be organizing to be more moderate. after all, the oppsition from Trump down are all deranged Nazi's and unable to govern.
I suspect it will need to get worse and will need a new generation of leadership, there is hope, the 60's revolutionaries are dying off and the present generation is self destructing by refusing to even father a next generation.
It is amazing that this party is now the party of war almost everywhere and engages in cultural and generational self destruction.
Is this the result of denying a greater power and deciding that they are the authors of how the world should look?

  6. Mike, No matter who our Republican candidates will be for any office two, four, six....years into the future the Democrats will have their platform ready. It's the same platform they have had for the last 50 years, smears, lies, slanders, libels,...When was last time you actually heard them run on anything positive? Oh yeah, they took a break from their usual fear and hate template in 2008 when the specifics of that campaign where "Hope and Change". Clearly that was a once and done message as neither hope nor positive change occurred. True to form when Obama ran for re-election his Republican opponent, the evil Mitt Romney was painted in the usual villainous colors. For good measure they threw in the claims he an animal abuser and a misogynist who wanted "women in binders". All this was seriously reported with straight faces by the mainstream media. Locally Democrat Nick Miller labeled his Republican opponent Dean Browning as a "racist" because one person once said he was somewhere on the internet. Mike, there is no bottom to how low the left has gone or will go to win. We can't do anything bad enough that will ever match what they claim we are. The good news is that America seems to be catching on. We shall see.

    2. I believe what the average Republican would tell you is that they believe their party is merely less bad than the other. Take note that Republicans have real leadership fights in the house and senate rather than ordinations. That's a plus.

  8. It's true. How low can the Dems go? Next thing you know they'll be rioting at the capital and trying to hang the vice president! Disgusting how one sided their views are! God Bless the Great Orange one who will change everything for the better... just like last time. Except this time he will make sure that none of the traitors who are now saying what a moron he was will be there to stop his glorious reign! (and if everything does go to hell, just remember: even if he has complete control over both houses and the supreme court: All the bad things that are happening are the cause of the Dems, Anything good, The Orange God). Can't wait.

  9. Trump’s cabinet picks are the new Democrat platform?

I’m more worried about what the current democrat administration is doing on its way out. They seem to be far more concerned about trying to stop Trump from closing the border, preventing Trump from bringing down energy prices, and holding Trump back from reigning in unnecessary government spending.

Guess what? I, like a majority of Americans, want the border secured, want lower energy prices, want less wasteful government spending.

And just yesterday we learned that sleepy Joe is trying to get us into World War 3 by authorizing the Ukraine to use our missles to strike within Russian territory. That’s not a war that I want to see started.

So while you and your “focus group” sit around and talk about the latest democrat talking points from The View, I’ll stay focused on the bigger picture.

  10. One thing apparent, at least from comments on this blog, is that the pre-election rancor has not subsided. Apparently, from the ratio of anonymous comments, many of my readers must have employment that is sensitive to expressing their political opinion :)

    1. "many of my readers must have employment that is sensitive to expressing their political opinion" Too true. The last time I openly gave any kind of public political opinion was when I was in a union. Can't wait to retire (if there is still a Social Security) so I can give my opinion on a street corner with a bullhorn.

    2. Thanks to Biden and the Democrats, a beautiful female college student was bludgeoned and murdered by an Illegal Alien who wanted to assault her. She fought back with all her strenth to save her life for almost a half hour until he crushed her skull with a rock.

Now it has been revealed in court that the late Ms Riley was killed by a confirmed member of the Tren de Aragua criminal gang from Venesuela, allowed into the United States. I will not mention the accused man's name.

It has also been revealed in court that the accused got the royal treatment as an illegal in New York -- free housing, meals, medical care, and the works, along with a free flight to his destination of choice. He chose Georgia, where he apparently went out to try to kill people, not just Ms Reilly, a college nursing student, but at least one other innocent woman, too. He got he wanted in killing Ms Reilly, and the barbaric violence of her death shocked the courtroom.

His entire journey to Georgia was financed by by the biden administration. That is in stark contrast to the Biden administration's claims that migrants pay for their own flights -- this one didn't. They blatantly lied. They lied about a border crisis, they lied about their "strict vetting" of migrants being allowed in without papers, and they lied about free flights. There's nothing they won't lie about to get what they want.

Meanwhile, Ms Riley lies mangled in her grave, thousands of other victims of murder, robbery, rape, arson and other crimes go largely ignored, while hundreds of thousands of children are dragged in and released into the U.S. as sex slaves or sweatshop labor, some of them actually kidnapped in Mexico itself to serve that purpose (a largely unreported story). This is the legacy of the Biden administration and having the Democrats in control of our federal government. It discloses the utter moral bankruptcy of the perpetrators of this crime, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, repackaged as a 'humanitarian' obligation.

This November's election was a resounding statement that it's got to stop and why the American people threw the Democrats out of power on their a**s.

  11. Trump is not a Republican by almost every measure. He is a populist who took over the Republican Party. Now that the career politicians see no way around it they have jumped on board and proclaim victory (apparently they need jobs more than principles). In reality, it is a near total defeat.

    ReplyDelete
  12. If by populist you mean a candidate who speaks and fights for the needs and wants of the common man then Trump fits that bill. Whether he is doing it out of principle or expediancy remains to be seen. This said even if the latter is the case his enemies have proven themselves the far greater evil.
