It will interesting what the ultra liberal and political supporter of former disgraced mayor Ed Pawlowski, Susan Ellis Wild, states about the current status of the State of Israel. Her leftist views should expose her as a supporter of terrorism, [Hezbollah and Hamas], however, she is bound to shake this identity and become a true supporter of Israel at the event.
ReplyDeleteShe is a scam artist in every sense of the word and she will try to scam the Jewish voters on this issue.
So you support Israel no matter what it does?
DeleteI support Israel. Supporting Israel is not a priority of mainstream Democratic Party
ReplyDeletemr. baker@9:46, i suppose that your question is directed toward "Fire The..."@7:59 For the record I don't support anything no matter what it does. however, Israel hasn't done anything that I don't support. I consider them a incredibly moral country, especially considering that they are surrounded by hundreds of millions of people wishing them ill.
ReplyDeleteI ask that when asking questions, commenters specify which comment they're addressing.
As a 18 year old private at Camp Lejune training for a road trip to The Nam something big was happening in early June 1967.Training was modified and intensified. My Father and Uncle drove My Mother down for a visit. It was than I found about the invasion of Israel. I have been a supporter of Israel ever since
ReplyDeleteThe left hates Israel! They see the Palestinians as victims. The truth of the situation doesn't matter. They create their own truth.
ReplyDeleteMy older son was invited to take two tours of Israel. Was very impressed.
Israel was basically founded by Socialists , and Israeli politics retain that tradition, so saying “the Left hates Israel” is an absurd statement. Like nearly any generalization.
ReplyDeleteI guess “support” is a tough word. Can one be in favor of providing for Israel’s defense while strongly opposing the expansion of settlements outside Israel’s internationally recognized borders.
Just to follow-up on @7:59's observations.
ReplyDeleteMs. Wild has, in my observations, shown zero character and integrity.
I won't bore readers here with a repeat of my story of her dereliction of duty while City Solicitor, but I do have other far less serious and far more amusing story.
After Ms. Wild put on a pyrotechnic show of virtue signalling condemning the Trump tax cut that allows working families to keep more of their own money, I asked her if she had the courage of her convictions and would return her own tax savings to the U.S. Treasury. Apparently she went deaf, and did not answer. Obviously, she's quite the fan of forced income redistribution on the soviet model.
Moreover, she also believes that labor racketeers of soviet-style, forced membership unions should be allowed to extortionistically skim wages off the tops of the paychecks of hardworking Americans and strip any who resist of their livelihoods -- Cuban and North Korean style.
It would seem wouldbe Commissar Wild is running for office in the wrong country.
Don't be surprised when she toes the line of leftist extremists everywhere and sides with terrorists over Israel. Don't expect her to really understand the dynamics of the region, but rather expect her to simply accept all positions fashionable among leftists.
this blog and its comment format is based on providing an alternative to "business as usual" in the blogosphere.
ReplyDeletei tend not to endorse candidates, especially in a primary election.
the comment requirements, to provide if not a name at least a known "handle", seeks insight from others, but not promotions and attacks for one candidate at the expense of others.
geoff@1:12, Israel was not re-established as a socialist experiment, but rather an attempt for jewish survival. although, some in the west bank are there for religious reasons, israel's pre-1967 borders were difficult to defend, in light of her hostile neighbors. for instance, the golan heights. at this point israel still does not have sincere partners for peace, and most make strategic decisions for its survival.
