Molovinsky Rebuilding Staff

As I reported previously, my entire female staff resigned after the Washington march. It wasn't enough to be non-partisan, they insisted that I condemn everything about Trump. One of the things that I complimented Trump on was his pick of Rex Tillerson, for Secretary of State. Here is a man who is giving up a $25million dollar salary to serve his country. Here is a man who was CEO of Exxon/Mobile, one of the biggest companies in the world.  Do you suppose that he just might be as smart and qualified as John Kerry, or Hillary Clinton, for that position.

My hope for my former staff is that they can calm down somewhat, and resume life. Presently, they're just besides themselves about Trump. Although, it's apparent that the man has no notion of diplomacy, he has only been president for less than two weeks. Barack Obama was given the Nobel Peace Prize in between being elected and being sworn in, just on the basis of his ability to speak eloquently. He didn't receive another one as president, nor should he have received the first one. This isn't a pro Trump site. He will be readily criticized here, as warranted. Although, additional vetting is prudent, his recent ban on certain countries was poorly implemented.  Shown above is Brigitte,  our new copy editor.

  1. Brigitte may turn out to be a good choice. I appreciate your candid comments on Trump and foreign policy and hope you can remain skeptical and even handed.

  2. At least your staff didn't assault you, start a riot, smash your windows, are start a fire in front of your building. Is your new hire French? Has she been properly vetted?

  4. Mr. MM, you neglected to mention that Exxon-Mobile paid him $180 MILLION when he resigned, and after his four(?) year "sacrifice" he will probably return for an even bigger package, in order to preside over the massive oil deals with Russia & Iran he will be able to negotiate now that he & Trump are going to remove sanctions against those countries.....seems fair doesn't it? In exchange for Russia & Iran giving us lip service aid in killing a few ISIL teenagers in Syria & Iraq, we agree to do nothing to prevent Russia from shoring up Assad in Syria, consolidating & expanding their encroachment of more territory in the Ukraine & Crimea & threatening the Baltic States, as well as letting NATO countries in central & western Europe that they are on their own now. WINNING!

  5. trent@4:26, it was obama who created the void which allowed russia into syria. it was obama who drew the disappearing line in the sand with assad. it was obama who did the deal with iran and removed the sanctions. what tillerson does remains to be seen. he was just confirmed yesterday. i can think of no president who was weaker in foreign policy than obama.

please do not reply. i only commented as an alternative to not deleting your revisionism.

  6. Put 500,000 dead Syrians at Obama's feet.Give the Eastern Ukraine to Russia thanks to Barry, and don't forget the continuing carnage in Libya. All part of Obama's legacy. There is more but this is a good start.

  7. Trent and Mike:

It interesting, and good you didn't delete, as I think it is highly likely that you are both nearly 100% correct...

  8. I wonder if Mr. Hall above has any retirement funds invested in Exxon-Mobile. Most of us do. I especially look for funds that invest in Israeli companies...just to aggravate folks like him.
