Can Brenda Save Ron?

Although Bernie promised us more on the Baratta decision, instead Brenda appears, and makes Bernie's points. Meanwhile, The Morning Call reports that Ron Angle accepted $3000 from the private prison company while trying to rush the deal through Northampton Council. Unable to reach his ghost speech writer, Angle tells the reporter that all they bought was disinfluence. Bernie branded Pawlowski as a pay to player for contributions much less than that. Can Brenda now help Ron? Bernie portrays Brenda as a young Asian woman. I have chosen Brenda Starr. Both the illustrations and original story lines were produced by a woman, Dale Messick, beginning in 1940.

  1. Looks like Ron's shirttail is getting frayed and torn. Anyone know a good dry cleaner who also does garment repairs?

  2. In 2010, back in the USA, Brenda is shocked to discover that The Flash has become a free newspaper and has taken on a blogger, the callow Jason (read MM). She is disappointed too when her old friend Harry Rumples (Angle?) seems to have sold out to the politicians. When the new mayor, charismatic Sterling Golden (Pawlowsk), is implicated in a murder, Brenda flies off to Belize in Central America, in search of the missing green campaigner Verde. Golden's manipulative mother turns out to be behind the murder and other dark doings. Brenda next investigates eccentric district attorney Tap Fitzpatrick in relation to the death of her fellow reporter Felicity Fox, and discovers that Tap's father is plotting against him while faking senility.

At the newspaper holiday party, Brenda announces her retirement. In the final strip (published Sunday, January 2, 2011), she says good-bye to everyone and walks away with tears in her eyes. As she leaves the party she receives a box containing a black orchid, and a card with the initials BSJ.

  4. Hello all. My screen name is Brenda and thats all I will tell you for now.

But I promise you, I am no plant, dual personality, figment of imagination or a "Starr"

The depiction of a young Asian woman definately has me thinking. I can tell you for sure that I am not asian. However, the depiction could be a complete coincidence, otherwise, BO has masterminded my identity with few small hints. The "asian" component itself is intriguing.

  6. Thank you Mike,
I just read the blog string on BO blogsite, which led me to check out your blog.

I surfaced recently on the BO blog because I have very genuine concerns about taxation, and the impact of a ballot initiative that relates to Gracedale.

If I blog on some more and release some facts that are known by few, my identity is sure to be blown. The letter that I wrote to the editor of the Express Times is still tightly tucked away in my computer files and has not been released to any media string, except for the BO blogsite. When I sent it over to BO, I redacted the closing paragraph.

The closing paragraph had some telling info in it that I chose to omit. Sort of like the temptation to squeeze past a fellow nascar race driver in the final lap of the race, but realizing that the risk of crashing and burning was way too high. So I erased that part, but the rest is authored by me and only me.

  7. Brenda Starr.....page 4 of the spinster playbook. Pay her heed, but silently. I wouldn't give her an ounce of attention.

  8. since i'm banned in boston, i will answer your latest comment about me here. you keep dwelling on the bill coker anonymous incident as a diversion. i have repeatedly stated why i favor retaining gracedale. from my experience with cedarbrook, i know that the county nursing homes provide a high level of care equal to the most expensive facilities, that most people cannot afford. i wouldn't advocate a county building one now, but they should retain existing institutions. you keep discounting my reasoning because i didn't attend the meetings, another diversion. the topic here is angle's acceptance of $3000 from the prison company, care to comment on that? your comment is welcome here. btw, i didn't say that you fabricated brenda.

  9. bernie, here's another question for you. when you did your post on Feb. 3, about contributions, why didn't you mention the $3000?

  10. Trying to point out to BO his loose play with the facts is like trying to get toothpaste back into the tube. Better to just let him self-destruct.
