Exclusive Interview with Pawlowski

Bill and Angie Villa have just announced that they have arranged an exclusive interview with Mayor Pawlowski. They will accept questions the public wishes to ask the mayor. Here's a few questions; Does the mayor have any hesitation about being interviewed by a couple who are routinely dishonest about what they and others say? Does he object to the Villa's assuming other people's identity on their and other people's blogs? Is he bothered by the fact that the Villa's continually attack the integrity of the District Attorney and the Editor of The Morning Call? Does he mind that the Villa's submitted a member of Allentown City Council and a Northampton County District Justice to insults?

Who is His Honors PR person? Talking about killing votes and poor advice.

The credibility scale keeps going down and down.

  2. Did you actually expect any better from Pawlowski? Let the fools be miserable together.

  3. Mr.Molivinsky I enjoy your blog and I read and enjoy many other local blogs. Newspapers fail to ask important questions and I am glad you try to. I think we are stuck with Mayor Ed for another 4 because I do not believe Mr. Phillips would be any better. I read the Villa's blog also and believe they have something to offer to the City. I don't believe the interview with Mayr Ed will be anything but fluff. The Villas are A-Town cheerleaders and allentown needs that at times too. I get tired of reading all the hate between people that all want to see the City do better. I realize that my opinions mean little because I post anon. It is unfortunately necessary given my employment. I digress, keep up the good work with your blog. I wish you would ignore the Villas and I wish they would ignore you.

  4. anon 10:46, it's hardly tic for tac. i do call the villa's dishonest phonies who post anonymously and assume other people's identity. they on the other hand call people douche bags. they state that either o'hare, najarian or myself write letters pretending to be their daughter from hell and make sexist remarks to dottie. these are horrendous, vile fabrications that they make repeatedly. there are many venues for a city administrator and mayor to express themselves, there is no excuse to participate on a site as sick as theirs.

  5. MM, OT question - what's the word on Myron Haydt and the Cosmopolitan restaurant?

  6. it's progressing, but very slowly, there's two men working on it. since i photographed it last, they completely blocked off any possible view, inspectors couldn't even see it, not that they would check.

  7. MM,

Pawlowski should be more accessible. That's one of his flaws. But his handler, Joe McDermott, will only let cheerleaders talk to him and has made the mistake of connecting him with a wingnut.

Pawlowski was hooked up first time with Casey, who ran away screaming after posting only the first segment of his interview. Couldn't take the comments. That was a disaster.

This time, McDermott has connected Mayor Ed with a whack job who spends 2/3 of his time impersonating other people and the other third making up lies about his perceived enemies, slamming future catholic priests, etc.

Kinda' makes me feel sorry for Mayor Ed. This is bound to hurt him.

Pawlowski would be better served by interviewing with someone who at least has a modicum of credibility.

Why not you? You're not running. We could even videotape it. Or Pam Varkony? She voted for him and is an Allentown resident.

If he wants to make sure he's on friendly turf, he could go to Schlossberg or Donovan. He could go to some supporters who at least will be honest. But going to Villa is idiocy, pure and simple.

  8. Bernie, while I agree w/ you I also don't think Pawlowski will take any chances, because there's no upside, only downside - and he'll view a fair, impartial interview as taking a chance. All things being as they are, I don't see any way Tony Phillips knocks him off.

  9. I would love to interview Mayor Pawlowski, but I doubt he'd give me the time of day.

  10. I've been reading these blogs and have nothing to say but this - the way Villa mocks that priest is sickening. He'll have to answer for that some day.
