The way we were

As a baby boomer, and third generation Allentownian,
I grew up on the south side during Allentown's heydays. Between Bethlehem Steel, Mack truck, Structural Steel, dozens of textile factories, and hundreds of other factories, Allentown boomed and the quality of life was excellent. The streets were clean, free of litter, and crime was a headline, not a daily occurrence. Allentown was the official ALL AMERICAN City. My wild card entry into the mayors race was a platform to inject the concept that we do not have to be enablers of our own demise. We have no obligation to attract and support poverty on the eastern seaboard. At the bottom of this page is a link to my website, which in turn has links to my various positions and opinions. comments welcome

  2. thanks, i found your blog interesting, original thoughts and reactions, too many blogs seem to use just paste-ups and press releases from other sites. for the record i see nothing wrong with your speculations about something,i.e. pawlowski and weiss. there's probably much more opinion than fact in many morning call stories.
