Bill O'Reilly Drinks Trump Potion

As a blogger, I'm constantly accused of watching and listening to the wrong fake news, depending upon the persuasion of the reader I'm offending at the time.  I never reveal which news sources I read/watch, and never presume that any of those sources knows the whole story.

I hadn't heard of Bill O'Reilly in a long time. I always found his demeanor annoying. Recently, I heard him on a news type show, and it was alarming. Trump had given Bill a tour of the White House, and the old pontificator was very impressed. He raved about Trump's decorations, and said that it would give Trump an advantage with any visiting world leader.

Trump showed him his new presidential gallery, where he has replaced history with his uninformed opinions about previous presidents. O'Reilly should be restricted to hosting bingo parties in senior living faculties.

  3. Trump allows you to continue to spew out this utter tripe column after column; so we're pretty sure he's not the authoritarian you claim him to be.....

  5. So Bill O’Reilly doesn’t share your warped opinion about Trump, so therefore he’s drinking the Trump “potion”?

I know this would never occur to you, but maybe, just maybe, someone who has actually met the man has a more accurate opinion than you, who never has.

  6. anon@12:10: Reilly said that gilding the White House would impress foreign leaders, and give Trump an advantage negotiating with them.
You're correct, I never met either of them. However, Trump apparently impressed you when you were invited to the White House, or did Trump visit you?

    1. I am obviously not as obsessed with Trump’s every action like you are.

And like you, I have never met Trump personally. Therefore, I try to keep an open mind. You should try it sometime.

I don’t understand the need to constantly vilify those who don’t share the same opinion as you do. Believe it or not, O’Reilly is allowed to have an opinion that you don’t agree with. There is no need to attack him personally or belittle his opinion simply because you disagree with it. You could try making your point with facts instead of slurs.

Your approach to Trump reminds me of an (Atty.) Alan Dershowitz quote about courtroom strategy: “When you have the law on your side, pound the law. When you have the facts on your side, pound the facts. If neither the law or the facts are on your side, pound the table.”

There seems to be a lot of table pounding in your posts over the last few months.

  8. Trump is certainly one of the most consequential presidents in our lifetimes, if not THE most consequential president.
