My quest to be a senior astronaut is officially over. Although I squeaked through the physical, I didn't do as well on the psychological profile.
Upon then arriving in Tallahassee, I discovered that Governor Ron pulled the plug on my plan B.
I'm on the bus and should arrive back in Allentown around noon today. I gave it my best, but I'm resigned to continue being a blogger.
Look at the bright side, this means you are still available to apply for the Director of Sustainability position at the City of Allentown!!

ReplyDeleteAs you come back to Allentown, remember to breathe in the new feeling of “safety” that you’ll be getting from more surveillance cameras (these are photo only) and “shot spotter” sound devices.
ReplyDeleteSurely you will rest easier knowing that if you or someone else is shot in the city, they will quickly have a photo of the area (and maybe even of the victim)!
This is obviously so much better than putting that money towards more officers on the street and running the criminals out of town BEFORE someone gets shot.
Many thanks to our elected officials for their leadership and vision. I’m sure that if you happen to walk by City Hall today you’ll literally be able to smell the progress!
But please try not to step in it.
I'm just dying to see how this system reacts to fireworks!?!?! Fireworks are a daily occurrence when the weather is warmer and sometimes even in frigid weather.
