If it seems as if the street in front of your home, which was dug up last year, is being dug up again, that's because it is. UGI, which changed out metal pipes to plastic last year, has decided to distribute their gas with higher pressure. Last year's new plastic pipes were not sufficiently engineered to handle the increase. Do you find that reassuring?
What does that mean if your street was redone about 3 years ago? Was the piping put in at that time deficient also?
ReplyDeleteIs this an MOA exclusive or do you have link to another source where we could read more?
@7:06, fair question. i have no source with which to link. i was told this by a homeowner i know in the area of allen high, after he inquired as to why the new gas line was being again replaced. UGI may well be using low pressure in some areas, and medium pressure in others.
ReplyDeleteSo you heard from a guy who heard it from a guy? Nice reporting...
ReplyDeletecyberstalker @7:44, actually, it is good reporting, i predict you'll see a MSM followup. many allentonians are wondering why the streets are being dug up twice within a couple of years.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping UGI digs you up one day accidentally.
ReplyDelete@10:01, i'm hoping one day that the cyber laws catch up with your harassment, lies, distortions, libels and threats. i understand your enemy list now exceeds 60, including local ministers, priests and bishops, professors and deans, lawyers and judges, reporters and editors.
