Little men with a little power searching for ways to prove the necessity of their occupation.
How many people were employed by code enforcement 20 years ago and how many exist now? Has the population changed? Are we citizens any safer because of this self-sustaining industry?
Mandatory home pre-rental inspections and pre-sale inspections are not cheap nor are they needed.

In Allentown's parks it's a $600. fine, but dog off leash, dog poop off leash, dog off leash harass other dogs and owners, try to get any enforcement, forget about it.

ReplyDeleteanon 4:33, no, the notice usually does not state those details. furthermore, i did not go up to the door, to read the date of posting or issuing officer. i was struck by the visual juxtaposition of the notice and holiday decorations.
