If I was a Republican congressman, I would be offended by the President saying that We Have Nothing To Hide. Unless I was an associate of Epstein, and entertained by his harem of girls, why would I have something to hide?
Trump is trying to make his shame theirs. He is not going to share his hotels and golf courses with congress, but will let them be part of the scandal.
Why shouldn't Trump try to play the Republicans in congress? They have been a cooperative chorus of sycophants, hoping the free ride will take them into 2029. For many, it will not take them into 2027.
I'm not here to be polite or popular

Suddenly you, and the Dems, and the MSM, on que, are all panties in a bunch over the Epstein material.
ReplyDeleteWhere was this deep abiding concern during the four years of the Joe Biden administration.
The hypocrisy on parade here is astounding.
This is red meat for the ignorant, the fools, the bottom feeding partisans and the willfully partisan tool baggers.
We’re not talking about Biden so don’t change the subject.
Delete8:11 - But we are talking about the lie that Trump is supposedly hiding something to protect himself or the republicans.
DeleteSo it’s certainly appropriate to point out that if there was actually something damaging to the republicans or to Trump in particular, Joe Biden had these files for FOUR years and would have certainly released them.
After all, democrats spent those four years trying to imprison their political opponent (Trump). They are the real fascists.
That the files weren’t released shows how much of a phony story this is. It’s just another CNN/MSNBC hoax about to be exposed. Unfortunately, it won’t matter to the hate-filled and gullible that watch those networks. They will quickly latch on to the next smear to spread their lies.
Do you mean that it just took about four years for the subject to arise?
DeleteYou offer nothing positive, Mike. No politician, no policy, no plan, no nuttin’.
ReplyDeleteYou need professional help.
anon@12:13 and again @12:22: I never cared, I'm not mentioned, and I wrote that it was now a distraction from Trump's policy of reacting to compliments and insults. It's a distraction from his threats to Venezuela and seesawing tariffs.
ReplyDeleteMackenzie will get a puppy biscuit, for his quick turnaround on the Epstein vote.
I really love what you are doing with your blog. I neither love nor despise the orange meanie or any elected. They are an evil necessary to our republic. Not a blessing, but a curse. Still, our system of government is the best on the planet even though the electeds work tirelessly to ruin it. Thank you for standing up for your beliefs, it's heartwarming.
ReplyDeleteTypical bully behavior. Intimidate peers into support, then expect that they will stand with you when you get caught. Mackenzie doesn’t deserve a biscuit.
ReplyDeleteIt’s interesting that Trump is trying to say that Epstein is a “democrat problem.” As if Epstein targeted democrats. I’m sure there will be numerous republicans in the files. Poor Trump, he latches on to lies he wants us to believe and tries to believe them himself. He’s much like an active 5 year old boy.
ReplyDeleteClearly, academics, liberal institutions, leftie types, were the majority of Epstein’s audience.
ReplyDeleteThe "I/We" thing is absurd. Expecting Trump, or any normal American, to avoid the Royal "We" on occasion is just silly.
ReplyDeleteRe the Epstein issue above: have any of his 'victims' ever said how they got to his island or townhome in Manhattan without their parents knowing....or apparently caring?
ReplyDeleteI just adore the direction your blog has taken. I can’t thank you enough for the valuable service that you are providing.
ReplyDeleteThis blog is hilarious. I used to wonder what happens when old people start to lose their marbles. Now I’m reading it daily in real time.
ReplyDeleteanon@2:34: many become paranoid, and post anonymously

ReplyDeleteEpstein gave millions to MIT and Harvard. I’ll leave it to the reader to decide if these are institutions that orient left or right.
Yes, old people are tedious and unproductive.
