the mack water tower at the old 5C plant can be seen in the upper left. little lehigh manor, the red brick twin homes, were not built until 1943-1944. they were built for the anticipated workers at the consolidated-vultee factory, making war planes.

You take your life in your hands at that intersection these days. There aren't many traffic rules or enforced speed limits in this park. At least when I walk there which is four or five times a week. It's crazy.
