Happy Dependence Day*

Yesterday I went to the Social Security Office, across from the prison, to discuss my retirement options. I was given number 199. In addition to retirement, Social Security also dispenses money for disability. I would say from the gray hair, there were
about three of us contemplating retirement, all the others were for disability. A few middle age men were carrying their fake canes. The canes aren't fake, it's the disabilities. I saw one such gentleman walk in from the parking lot, clearly the cane bore no weight, and was merely a prop. Most of the people waiting were quite young, in their twenties. Disability has been expanded to include mental conditions such as depression, anxiety, additive personality and anger management. I will say many of them did look angry to me. It was hard finding a parking space. Business also looked good at the prison. If Johnny Manana's had gotten these crowds....

  1. I experienced the same situation. Dozens of people for disability claims and about four signing up for regular SS.

The one receptionist guy asked if I had a gun. I asked if anyone ever says yes. He said all the time.

This benefit was intended for blind, deaf and immobile people not druggies, drunks and unemployed.

How do we stop this? Not while BO is in office.

  2. @9:43, if truth be known, it's very common among certain groups. they sign up as early as 18, then collect for what should have been their entire working life. it's a life style choice, not a medical or mental condition. it has been going on long before obama.

    1. Mornin MM,
T his a very good topic as I remember a allentown advertizment on tv telling people to come to allentown to sign up and get ssi monies¿ Maybe this was the first part of allentowns trangretional development. The advertizment looked very similar to the allentown phantoms one being played right now¿

  3. there were rumors years ago that daddona had advertised in n.y.c. and puerto rico that people should move to allentown, i don't believe they were true. it certainly is not true that there were television ads that people should move to allentown and sign up for SSI, but thousands did just that.

  4. You should thank Julian. He's given you the best money making idea now that you're a senior. Sell those canes!

If the federal govt. refused to increase welfare benefits per increased child, this continuation of crippling integrity and responsibility might change.

  6. It use to be estimated a welfare recipient received approximately $30,000 in total tabulated benefits, but of late, it appears the number is much higher.

It went on before BO, but it's increased massively while BO has been in office. Same for SNAP stamps.

Get as many on the dole and stay in control of the govt!!!
