A Taste of Sangria

It's good to be Butz

  1. Incredible. Goes to show what a little campaign dough can do.

  2. Maybe they will use some of the cash to pay their web hosting service, or get a more reliable server.

  3. Mr. Molovinsky,
We don't understand what this funding means to Butz. Sounds like it's free money for this poverty-stricken business, but what does it mean. Would you mind explaining. Thank you for taking the time to address our question.

  4. anon 8:10, i haven't made any formal inquiries, and have not in reply received any misinformation. (ask me no questions, and i'll tell you no lies)
from what i have pieced together over the last 6 months; butz would renovate for the new restaurant row, and be reimbursed from a grant. it was my understanding that the original grant was supposed to be about $425,000. it appears they decided to take more. the bill cited in the post goes to council this evening for the 1st resolution, and i suppose passage next meeting.

  5. Does Butz own the restaurant Sangria? I know they are the property owner, but is the restaurant itself owned by an outside party, or by the Butz corporation?

Why would Butz develop the restaurant prior to receiving the grant? Or, is this additional money?

  6. butz does not own the restaurant, which is his first tenant in that main first floor space since he built the building. the grant enables butz to get a tenant, and enables pawlowski to say that he's developing a dining district.
