Saturday News - Good to hear SEIU and Scouts got together yesterday to clear more of that Allentown park land. Excellent compromise. Not sure Bethlehem's mayor should have been there and his appearance some might say had political overtones, but nevertheless, the coming-together shows problems can be solved with care and forgiveness and for Thanksgiving Weekend, wonderful outcome.
anon 10:56, it is my pleasure to host your opinion, but i didn't see it the way you did. maybe i'm too jaded.
i certainly don't blame the scout, but friday was way too contrived for me. perhaps a few local members, but not leadership from philly and N.J.; straight Public Relations. in that regard, apparently callahan has no shame.
MM, We don't disagree for a moment. But how did Callahan find out? This story seemed to not want to go away. It was even repeated on the Thanksgiving Eve 6 P.M. Fox News, a week after the fact.
I for one appreciate your earlier post on Bernie Ohare. You are correct in your statement that he has become trial lawyer, judge and executioner on his blog.
There have been many incidents where people, some County employees, some not have tried to comment or clear up a blatant lie and they have been deleted.
What is more after Mr. Ohare deletes them he gives his reasons but does not let the comment stand so others can judge for themselves.
It is indeed sad that as long as one's truth is in line with Mr. Ohare's truth it can stand but if it becomes an inconvenient truth it is simply deleted. It is small wonder he is distrusted by so many.
You call it open mike but enable comment moderation. What a fake!
ReplyDeleteit is indeed sad that almost the entire lehigh valley blogosphere must resort to comment moderation because of one couple

i also wondered how callahan knew. assuming the boy scout didn't invite him, was he tipped off by the union or the allentown administration?
