Merry Pawlowski

Last night, as I went to sleep concerned about the impropriety of The Morning Call featuring Pawlowski's picture on the city map, little did I know I would awake to another full page picture of the mayor on the cover of the Entertainment Section. It's time for me to get with the program. I wish you a Happy Pawlowski Day, and next month, when it beginning to look a lot like Pawlowski, may you have a Merry Pawlowski and Happy Pawlowski Year!

  1. Hey Mike, I hear there is a movement a foot to put a statue of Pawlowski on top of the Soldier/ Sailors Monument!

Have a Merry Pawloski Season! LOL!

  2. I saw the holiday section. I dont usually get the paper mcall, but my inlaws had a copy. I was not offended. It looked more like a mayor promoting local business, and paid with private money. I'm not so critical.

  3. I was sickened by the self-serving photo and nauseating propoganda in the City map and services directory mailed to all Allentown households this month. Pawlowski must have some kind of career politician handbook to exploit every opportunity for self promotion. His ego is disgusting.

  4. We only need to hang his record around his neck next year.

    It is abysmal.

Of course, his propaganda is good. And the Morning Call should have that hung around their neck as well.

Killing stories about reality. Endorsing idiotic policies. Ignoring critics who keep being proven right.

    1) police contract
    2) borrowing money to hide deficits
    3) creating sewer/water fund deficits
    4) ignoring pension laws
    5) mathematical 'errors' on major proposals
    6) double counting revenue to justify spending

    I could go on.
